Alexei Navalny said that the Congress of the Progress Party, scheduled for March 3, will not take place. According to the politician, the congress was disrupted due to the landlord's decision to terminate the lease agreement.
The congress was planned to be held in Moscow in a room leased by the Kabinet-Novaya Ploshchad company. Navalny said that on March 2, a notification was sent to the Ministry of Justice about the exact location and time of the event.
“In an hour, the landlord calls us: we are canceling everything, we are terminating the contract,” Navalny wrote on his website. According to him, the landlord referred to the decision of the owner of the premises.
