A student of the faculty of international relations of St. Petersburg State University on the eve of March 8 conducted an action against sexism in an educational institution. She hung posters on the walls of the faculty with quotes of teachers of St. Petersburg State University about women. About this writes "Medusa".

The girl, who was presented by Julia, studies in the 1st year of the magistracy of the faculty of international relations and graduated from the undergraduate there. On posters there are such quotes as “a graduate student imprisoned for marriage is not able to understand postpositivism” and “I want only red -haired beauties in short skirts to come to the exam”.

Among the authors of quotes, she indicated the head of the Department of American Research Boris Shiryaev, associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations of Roman Native, Associate Professor of the Department of American Research Ivan Tsvetkov.

The press service of St. Petersburg State University "Medusa" reported that the leadership of the university did not receive information about sexist manifestations in the behavior of teachers. The dean of the faculty of international relations Irina Novikova did not respond to the publication.

Ivan Tsvetkov did not recognize his quote (“The woman wrote this monograph about the war, can you imagine? Surprisingly, it turned out well”). Boris Shiryaev called the action “to put it mildly, inappropriate”, “ridiculous joke” and “obvious delirium” and informed Medusa that he never said that women had no place in politics.
