In Volokolamsk, about ten local residents were detained who were trying to block the entrance to the Yadrovo solid waste landfill. This was reported by one of the detainees, Lyudmila Morgunova.

Morgunova said that there are currently about ten people in the police custody. Among them: Ekaterina Koltsova and her husband, Eduard Mitrofanov, Pavel Vinogradov, Alexander Makarenkov, his wife Natalya and their seven-year-old child.
According to detainee Ekaterina Koltsova, three masked men in unmarked uniforms pulled her husband out of the crowd. During the arrest, they used a chokehold and hit the man. The woman does not know where her husband is - she said that he was taken to another room.
Mitrofanov and other detainees confirmed that during the arrest, police officers selectively grabbed people from the crowd and used physical force.
Natalya, the wife of Alexander Makarenkov, said that she came to the department with her seven-year-old child to find out what was happening to her husband. She added that detainees are not allowed to go to the toilet.
The woman also said that she witnessed how police officers roughly pulled an elderly man out of the crowd and began beating him with batons. She ran up to him to help, but the police officers tied her up too. Afterwards, Alexander Makarenkov tried to help the man, but he was also dragged into a police bus.
Residents of Volokolamsk held a protest on the road near the Yadrovo solid waste landfill. Radio station "Moscow Says" that the event participants blocked trucks that were heading to the landfill.
