In Volokolamsk, those detained for blocking the entrance to the Yadrovo training ground were released from the police

In Volokolamsk, the police released detained local residents who blocked the entrance to the Yadrovo solid waste landfill. This was reported to OVD-Info by Artem Lyubimov, a member of the initiative group “Yadrovo. We're suffocating!

One of the detainees, Andrei Koltsov, told OVD-Info that reports were drawn up against three local residents, including himself, under Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the legal demands of a police officer).

He also added that there were more than ten people detained: when Koltsov and other local residents were in the police, two buses arrived at the department, in which there were four and two people.

UPD March 9 Protocols were drawn up for disobedience to the police for nine people, and for two for violating the procedure for holding a mass event (20.2 of the Administrative Code). TASS reports this.

• On March 8, residents of Volokolamsk held a protest on the road near the Yadrovo solid waste landfill - they blocked trucks heading to the landfill. Police officers who arrived at the scene began to selectively snatch people from the crowd and put them on a police bus, using physical force.
• One of the protest participants witnessed police beating an elderly man with batons.
• According to the detainees, about 16 people were taken to the police department.
