On January 19, police in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh Region, opened an administrative case on “gay propaganda” among minors over campaign leaflets distributed against Alexander Sukhinin, head of the local headquarters of Communist Party presidential candidate Pavel Grudinin. about this on March 8 RBC writes .

Case under Art. 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses was initiated because of the leaflets that were distributed on behalf of Sukhinin. In them, the head of the headquarters allegedly calls for the creation of gay movements in Borisoglebsk, since the “great Russian composer” Tchaikovsky and the “favorite singer of pensioners” Philip Kirkorov are gays.

“It is when the gays come to power that a happy life will begin for all Russians,” the leaflets say.

Sukhinin considered the statements to be slander and in December 2017 contacted the police. In February, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 128.1 of the Criminal Code (slander). Sukhinin was not aware of the initiation of a case under the article on “gay propaganda”.
