"A minibus belonging to a private person who did not have a license for passenger transportation, but the KamAZ was collapsed on the highway near Yakutsk - four people were killed, five more were injured," the source said. In total, there were 11 people in the minibus.

According to Interfax, the traffic police officer Yakutia Vasily Rufov, the accident occurred at the 142nd kilometer of the Vilyui federal road. “The village of Magaras is located closest to the scene of the accident, about 42-46 km,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to preliminary data, the driver of the snowman became the culprit of the accident. "The driver of the snowplower machine unexpectedly began to turn back in his lane and did not notice the approaching minibus," the source said. Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health of the Republic Lyudmila Verbitsky said that nine people were injured in the accident.

"Three died at the scene of an accident, the fourth died on the way to the hospital. Five people were hospitalized, four of them were injured, one person suffered hard. Four more were released for outpatient treatment," she said.

The Investigative Department of the IC of the Russian Federation specified that the investigation group left for the scene.

The prosecutor's office of Yakutia began an audit after an accident, reports TASS. "The audit will be evaluated by compliance with the legislation when transporting passengers by road, completeness by the authorized body of control functions when organizing the transportation of passengers. According to the results of the audit, if there are grounds, the issue of taking a complex of prosecutor response measures will be considered," the press service of the supervisory authority said.
