Protesters against solid waste landfill detained in Klin

In the city of Klin, Moscow Region, several protesters against the Aleksinsky Quarry solid waste landfill were detained. This was reported in the Aleksinsky Quarry group on the VKontakte social network. In addition, OVD-Info managed to talk to one of the detainees, Aleksey Kotov.

Kotov wrote on the wall in the group that he and several other people were detained:

Chistyakov forcibly put me and several other activists into a police bus without drawing up a protocol.

Chistyakov - Deputy for the protection of public order of the head of the Department of Internal Affairs for the city district of Klin. According to Kotov, the police simply pushed eight people onto the bus without explaining why. They were later taken to the police station. Now they are being issued protocols of an administrative offense.

The user "Tatyana Chaikovskaya" wrote in the group that during the detention, police officers pushed people into the bus, wringing their hands.

Activists of the initiative group of protest against the landfill came to the quarry today to control the number of garbage trucks passing through the territory. At another solid waste landfill near Moscow, near Volokalamsk, an action was held today, local residents did not let cars with garbage go there. Activists from Klin suggested that garbage trucks from the Volokolamsk landfill would go to them.

UPD 2.47 The detainees were released, having drawn up protocols on them under Part 6.1 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event, resulting in interference with transport). The activists were held by the police for three and a half hours. Some were fingerprinted, some refused to undergo fingerprinting.
