Dmitry is a pensioner. Lives on the outskirts of Volokolamsk in a private house. A month ago, when there was a large emission of smelly gases on the landfill, Dmitry howled the dog, rushed from the corral and tried to run away where she looked.

These people unite spontaneously, write off in social networks, put up ads at bus stops, write at city forums. On March 3, they managed to gather a rally of five thousand people on the square in front of the Volokolamsk administration. They demanded to immediately close the landfill. But the head of the administration Gavrilov did not come to them. “The head never seemed from the pants,” the pensioner Dmitry described the reaction of the authorities.

Before the start of protests, at least 400 garbage trucks per day went to the training ground. When the protests began, the number of cars was reduced, but still daily at least 100 cars are thrown away at the landfill.

Activist Irina, actually working as a cook, claims that garbage trucks, who were not able to drive past the picket to the landfill, dump their garbage nearby, in Sychevsk careers. The snow will come down and we will see.

Blessed protest

A series of cars, on which people arrived in Yadrovo, stretches on both sides of the Volokolamsk highway five kilometers. Cars of at least two thousand. In each car-two or three people. This means that the rally on March 10 is at least five thousandth. A huge figure for Volokolamsk.

A rally was organized with the participation of the campaign headquarters Ksenia Sobchak. The organization lies in the fact that they drove a truck with an open body to serve as a scene. There are a microphone and two columns. The figures of the Panfilov heroes are cut out of the cardboard, who, according to legend, died very close. They rise above the crowd - in the sense that the heroes were not for that, protecting the homeland, now to rest under the garbage heap with the size of a nine -story house.

Ksenia Sobchak is late. She will be late for forty minutes, like Putin. The organizers explain from the truck’s body that Ksenia Anatolyevna, they say, deliberately detained the traffic cops, but they don’t really believe it in the crowd. The traffic cops here are friends, neighbors. With them, activists, who dressed in chemical protection costumes, smoke peacefully, and the traffic cops nod with understanding: "I suffocate in kind of house."

Meanwhile, people are climbing into the truck’s body and say. They are not speakers or politics. They speak badly. “I know all these places here, I am a hunter and now I saw a landfill above the centuries -old Christmas trees, I am stunned ...” “I have granddaughters here, I rode here, and now you can’t breathe here.” And the little girl Tanya: “I go to school in a gas mask. I want everyone to breathe clean air. Close! "

The crowd picks up: "Close!"

One of the speakers turns out to be an anti-Semite and shouts that the Jews own the company LLC Yadrovo. Someone is pretty drunk and, trying to steal from fellow countrymen a low bow to an active civil position, almost falls from the body. A representative of the Moscow Chamber of Public Chamber is taken to the body, it is booed. He is trying to report that they have already been brought, they say, two devices to monitor the state of air, that the state of air is normal.

Especially the crowd is angry that the representative of the Public Chamber confuses the stress in the word "Makes". This is the name of the street on which the device that examines the air should stand. The stress must be made on “o”, and the speaker says “Vesmishch”. And immediately it’s clear - a stranger.

“I went out! Mazertti! Disgrace!"

But mostly women, old people, adolescents say. They never engaged in politics. They first shout from the stage that have the right to breathe. And they shout for the first time: "Down with Gavrilov!" (head of the district), "Down with Vorobyov!" (Governor of the Moscow Region), "Down with Putin!" (President of the Russian Federation). “Vova! You took away the future from us, leave at least the air! "

Almost just before the arrival of Sobchak, the head of the city Peter Lazarev climbs into the truck body. He is his own. They listen to him. He says that the matter is not only in the air. That the Gorodnya river flows right under the landfill. What when snow melts, poisons from the landfill will flow along the city to the Lama River, in the lame - to the big sister, in the sister - to the Volga. And the environmental disaster will gain a federal scale.

Lazarev reports that he had already written about the Governor and Presidential Plenipotentiary who threatened the whole Volga disaster. He is embarrassed to say this, because he has a poster above his head: "Sobchak to the presidency." And he clarifies: "I support our President Putin, do not need his Down with."

The right to breathe

When, finally, Sobchak arrives, the rally acquires the form of a rally. Ksenia stands in the back of the truck and throws minted slogans into the crowd. "The right to breathe!" "They stole our air!" "Vorobyov resigned!" "We are against all!"

She makes only one mistake that almost spoils the whole impression of her speech. In the word “nucleus” she emphasizes “I”, but it is necessary on “o” - core. A murmur runs along the crowd - a stranger. But someone, apparently, tells Ksenia, and she is corrected. An error in stress is forgiven for her for the mocking of formulations.
