Protesters against a landfill were again detained in the Moscow region
In the village of Yadrovo near Volokolamsk, police detained about 10 protesters against a landfill. This was reported by MBH Media with reference to the leader of the initiative group Artem Lyubimov.
According to the publication, the detainees are charged with disobedience to police officers (part 1 of article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
A protest action continues near the Yadrovo solid waste landfill. Its participants demand the closure of the landfill, which creates an unpleasant smell.
On March 10, police officers already detained five activists.
Protests against solid waste landfills and incineration plants are taking place in different parts of the Moscow region. At the entrance to Naro-Fominsk, participants of solo pickets were detained , and in Klin, police officers took to the department the activists of the initiative group, who came to count the garbage trucks entering the territory of the Aleksinsky Quarry landfill.
