Nationalist Vladimir Ratnikov was sentenced to 160 hours of compulsory labor

The Gagarinsky District Court of Moscow sentenced Vladimir Komarnitsky (Ratnikov), one of the leaders of the Nation and Freedom Committee, to 160 hours of compulsory work. This was reported on the Kasparov.ru website .

Komarnitsky was accused under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity). According to the prosecution, from 2013 to 2016, he posted on his page on the social network VKontakte the songs of the Kolovrat and Gang of Moscow groups, included in the federal list of extremist materials.

The prosecutor asked to recognize the nationalist guilty and sentence him to two years in prison in a colony-settlement. Komarnitsky himself, as well as his lawyer, declared inadmissible evidence on which the prosecution relies, and demanded the full acquittal of the accused.

Komarnitsky believes that a criminal case was brought against him for participating in the organization of the Russian March. In 2016, he was already sentenced to a suspended sentence for posting the songs of these groups on VKontakte.
