On the night of March 11-12, Vladimir police detained two activists for distributing leaflets calling for election observers. The regional news agency “Dovod” reports on this.
reports the Lawyer of Navalny's headquarters in Vladimir, Kirill Nikolenko, and a member of the regional council of the movement in defense of the rights of voters "Voice" Kirill Ishutin were taken to police department No. 1. But the protocols on an administrative offense under Art. 5.12 (illegal campaigning) was never drawn up, limiting itself to delivery protocols.
Nikolenko published a video of the arrest on Twitter.
As Nikolenko later tweeted, the police confiscated “Voter Strike” leaflets and stickers from the detainees calling for them to become observers without counting them. The activist assumes that they will be sent for examination.
reported The leaflets, among other things, talked about Navalny’s presidential nomination and the reasons for the boycott of the elections by his supporters.
Previously, the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation registered 4,500 Navalny observers from the publication Leviathn, which he owned, which, unexpectedly for the politician, was liquidated by the court, as he said in his own article.
