Dmitry Semyonov, the former head of the Chuvash headquarters of Open Russia, is in the same situation. On February 13, the second protocol under Art. 20.33.
In April 2017, the Prosecutor General's Office recognized as "undesirable" foreign organizations a number of structures founded abroad by the politician and former businessman Mikhail Khodorkovsky, including: "Otkrytaya Rossia" and "Open Russia Civic Movement", registered in Britain.
Previously, Khodorkovsky himself had insisted that Open Russia, operating in Russia, could not fall under the law, since it was registered as a local, and not as a foreign one. The Russian prosecutor's office, on the contrary, considers the movement to be part of the structures controlled by the former head of Yukos.
UPD Yuri Sidorov told OVD-Info that he had not yet received the protocol, although the document was indeed ready.
