FSB: 60 supporters of the IG were detained in Moscow and the Moscow Region

The FSB announced that together with the police, she detained 60 foreigners - members of the "ethnic criminal group" in Moscow and the Moscow region, which organized the migrant transfer channel to Syria and Iraq to participate in the war on the Islamic State, as well as issuing to the visitors from Central Asia, fake documents on legal stay in Russia. The message is published on the special services website.

During the searches at 17 addresses, the FSB says, “three laboratories for the manufacture of fake documents, a large number of seals, stamps about crossing the state border, migration maps of the Russian Federation, originals and copies of passports of foreign states” were discovered.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs gives other information. The police department only reports on the case under part 2 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code (the organization of illegal migration by a group of persons by prior conspiracy or an organized group; up to seven years of colony) does not mention suspicions of the relations of the detainees with IS.

At the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, not 60, but over 60 people were delivered to the police departments. At the same time, however, they are called "presumably involved in unlawful activities." This allows us to admit that only part of the detainees will be attracted in the case, and the rest will be freed.
