The FSB, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained 60 foreign citizens in Moscow and the Moscow Region. They are suspected of crossing the supporters of the “Islamic state” to participate in hostilities in Iraq and Syria, as well as illegal legalization of migrants from Central Asia in Russia.
As a result of searches, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB discovered three laboratories for the manufacture of fake documents. 200 forms of migration maps of the Russian Federation, 100 seals and stamps about crossing the border of the Russian Federation, 50 passports of Central Asia, 40 bank cards were seized, Irina Volk, official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, told Interfax .
According to the wolf, searches and detention were carried out as part of a criminal case on the illegal crossing of the border of the Russian Federation, instituted by the transport police.
Law enforcement agencies managed to confirm the connection of detainees with international terrorist organizations, according to the Center for Public Relations of the FSB.
