An entrepreneur was detained in the Moscow region in connection with the attack of stray dogs on people.

In the case of an attack by a pack of stray dogs on people in the Istra district of the Moscow region, an individual entrepreneur was detained. He is suspected of providing services that do not meet security requirements.

The detainee signed an agreement on catching stray dogs with the administration of the Istra district. According to the investigation, officials received 34 complaints from residents of the village of Kursakovo about a pack of stray dogs, on the basis of which they sent applications for trapping to the entrepreneur. The man claims that he did not receive applications.

• On March 11, in the village of Kursakovo, the body of a 19-year-old young man was found with lacerations characteristic of dog bites. Later, a 24-year-old girl was admitted to the Kursakovo hospital with similar injuries. Investigators believe they were both bitten by the same pack of stray dogs.
• On the fact of the attacks, the Investigative Committee opened two criminal cases - on negligence and on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements.
