As follows from the materials of the criminal case, on December 18, 2014, at about 17:30, Roman Korenev, together with Vyacheslav Zakharov, Valery Banner and Usman Dzhatsaev, were at the intersection of the Astrakhan - Elista - Stavropol highway. They stopped the Volkswagen Caddy passenger car, in which jewelry belonging to a commercial company was transported.

Threatening the valuable carriers with a pistol, the attackers stole gold jewelry worth 26 million 666 thousand rubles and a mobile phone worth 15 thousand rubles.

We add that the accomplices of Klablev were convicted earlier. Zakharov was sentenced in the form of 13.5 years in prison, knowledge - 13 years in prison, Jatsaev - 11 years in prison with serving a sentence in a maximum regime colony. The actions of the convicts were qualified according to paragraphs "a, b" of part 4 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code ("robbery committed by an organized group on an especially large scale"). They were threatened with punishment in the form of 15 years in prison.
