
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on the assassination of the murder of Russian citizen Julia Skripal, the daughter of an ex-colonel of the GRU, a citizen of Great Britain, Sergey Skripal, in the English city of Salisbury. According to the UK, the former spy and his daughter were poisoned by a nerve-paralytic gas of military origin under the name of a "newcomer" of Russian production. Moreover, in London they tend to believe that the order of the use of chemical weapons was personally given by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The case of attempted murder of a citizen of the Russian Federation Julia Skripal in the British city of Salisbury was initiated on March 16 the Main Directorate for the investigation of especially important cases of the TFR. The investigation is carried out under Part 3 of Art. 30, p. "E", part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder committed in a generally dangerous way), according to Friday on the website of the IC of the Russian Federation.
The case of the murder of a citizen of the Russian Federation Nikolai Glushkov , former partner of Boris Berezovsky, was also opened in London.

As noted in the SKR message, highly qualified experts are planned to be involved in criminal investigation. Investigators are also ready to jointly work with the competent authorities of Great Britain.
The person involved in the poisoning of the former KGB officer and the FSB Alexander Litvinenko in the UK, and now the State Duma deputy Andrei Lugova has already commented on the decision of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
"The initiation of a criminal case in connection with the attempted murder in the UK Julia Skripal will show how much London is ready to cooperate in the investigation," the Interfax agency quoted him.
On Friday, March 16, British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson announced that the order of the use of chemical weapons on the territory of the Kingdom of Chemical Weapons was personally given by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We have a discord with the Putin Kremlin and its decisions, and we think that it was probably his order - to use neuro -paralytic gas in the UK, in Europe, for the first time since the Second World War," the minister emphasized.
On March 4, Sergey Skripal and his daughter Julia were found on a bench next to the shopping center in Salisbury with signs of severe poisoning by neuro-paralytic. They are in critical condition in the hospital.
