Detainee with a poster “Putin to Emperor!” admitted to a psychiatric hospital

In Moscow, a detainee holding a poster “Putin to Emperor!” Ivan Cloudny (Gennady Pirogov) was admitted to the Moscow Regional Psychiatric Hospital. His wife reported this; this information was confirmed in the emergency room and the fourth department of the hospital.

OVD-InfoPirogov’s wife relayed the words of the nurse on duty, with whom she spoke on the phone: “Yes, we have him. Come to the fourth department, talk to the doctor tomorrow.” The attendant did not provide any more information.

Earlier, Pirogov managed to report that he was being taken to the Moscow Regional Psychiatric Hospital. The police department said that he had schizophrenia and delusions of grandeur, since during a single picket the man was dressed in a tsar’s costume.

Pirogov refused to take medication and did not sign the document. He also added that a meeting of a certain commission will soon be held, which will raise the question of Pirogov’s sanity.

Doctors suggested that Pirogov voluntarily undergo treatment, which would last two weeks. His wife said that he refused, and, according to employees of the psychiatric hospital, the decision on whether Pirogov should be treated will be made by the court.
