In Moscow, a court arrested nine members of the New Greatness movement

The Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow arrested nine members of the New Greatness opposition movement, including a minor girl, for two months. This was reported by lawyer Maxim Pashkov, who represents the interests of one of the arrested activists.

The day before, New Greatness activists were searched. According to eyewitnesses, during one of the searches a list of ten names of members of the movement was seized. According to unconfirmed reports, FSB officers were present at the search.

It is also known that the activist was previously pressured by employees of the Center for Countering Extremism, after which the employer demanded that she resign. On the same day, “Kremlin Laundress” published a video in which a man calling himself Ruslan Kostylenkov answers questions from the person behind the camera and talks about the creation of the “New Greatness” organization. According to him, the purpose of the organization was “to establish order on the territory of the Russian Federation, organize a tribunal over members of the ruling elite, and abolish repressive laws and the Constitution.” When asked how members of the movement wanted to accomplish this, Kostylenkov replies that he was going to organize rallies and organize actions against law enforcement officers.
