In the chronicle of the election repressions going throughout the country, a new "group" business is distinguished. Nine activists of the little -known opposition movement "New Greatness" became his defendants.
The raids with searches and detentions took place on March 15 in Moscow. The first to report to them was the Kremlin laundry Telegram channel related to the security forces. In the photographs from the search published by the channel, leaflets about the "voter strike", a leaflet with the "New Greatness" program and a T -shirt with anarchist symbols are visible. Later, the names of some detainees became known: this is the alleged leader of the movement Ruslan Kostylenkov (acquaintances call him "center" in Internet correspondence) and 23-year-old Maria Lapina. One minor girl was detained, presumably Anna Pavlikova (her VK account was last used on March 12). Kostylenkov’s account on Vkontakte was last used on March 15, on the day of detention, the Lapina page - on the 12th. When detaining, Pavlikov was forced to lie on the floor. Prior to this, the Central Bank’s employees put pressure on the girl and forced her employer to dismiss the activist. Pavlikova’s parents abandoned an independent lawyer provided to human rights activists.
During the search, a list with the names of ten activists of movement was seized. In investigative actions, according to unconfirmed reports, the FSB operatives participated. All detainees were taken to the Kuntsevsky inter -district department of the TFR.

On the same day, the "Kremlin laundress" distributed a video of the interrogation of Kostylenkov. In the video, he, panting, pronounces the obviously memorized text, mentioning in particular the plans of "organizing the tribunal over members of the ruling elite" and "training in the shooting and throwing of Molotov cocktails." On March 16, Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow sent nine defendants in the pre -trial detention center. They were charged with Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code (organization and participation in the extremist community), in part 1 of which (organization) can be obtained from six to ten years of the colony, from part 2 (participation) - from two to six.
This whole story from the very beginning looks strange: it is not clear why the security forces began to pursue the heavy "extremist" article of these activists, leading ordinary peaceful protest activities. The idea of the activity of the movement gives it a VK group , the messages in which began to appear on December 30: activists lay campaign stickers against Vladimir Putin, called for boycotting and watching voting, participated in the march of Boris Nemtsov’s memory. In Moscow alone, after the manifestations of March 26 last year, several small and little -known youth protest organizations similar to the "new grandeur" were created at once.
At the same time, in the group you can find the notes that the security forces could theoretically complain about: one of the invitations to join the organization contains a mention of “joint trips to tyres and gym” and “training in handling weapons and hand-to-hand combat”, in another record , the author argues about the future of the “ideas of national socialism”. In one of the photos from the VK page of Kostylenkov, a person in a camouflage-colored jacket (his face is not visible) charges a hunting rifle.
The raids on the participants of "New Greatness" were carried out just on the day when the movement site was supposed to start work. Now the resource consists of one starting page with a brief description of the association. According to human rights activist Irina Yatsenko, in the case of "new greatness" three secret witnesses - perhaps the activists from the very beginning were monitored by the implemented provocateurs of the security forces. A message is also imposed on this thought about the identification of the “extremist message”, which appeared in another Prochremlin Telegram channel - “Operee” - the day before the detention.
Apparently, we are dealing with the next start -up technology of the “group” persecution that it was decided to conduct before the elections - the disclosure of the terrible revolutionary conspiracy was by the way. This is an effective action of intimidation - for peaceful protest activities, they are now massively arrested with the prospect of a serious deadline and torture.
