According to the VTsIOM exit poll , Vladimir Putin wins the presidential elections in Russia with a score of 73.9%. The poll was conducted at 1,200 polling stations in 68 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. A total of 162,601 people were interviewed. 62.8% of respondents answered the questions.
“According to the results of the VTsIOM exit poll, V. Putin was elected President of the Russian Federation in the first round (73.9% of the vote). The second place was taken by P. Grudinin (11.2%), the third - by V. Zhirinovsky (6.7%). The remaining candidates showed more modest results: K. Sobchak - 2.5%, G. Yavlinsky - 1.6%, B. Titov - 1.1%, S. Baburin - 1.0%, M. Suraykin - 0.8 %," VTsIOM reported.
