In Moscow, three state -owned centers of assistance to women in a difficult life situation are operating. The paradox is that all places are rarely occupied there. Because only women with a passport, Moscow registration and a “good past” are accepted. This means that if a girl was conditionally convicted or documents were stolen from her, she cannot go there. Namely, this usually makes the situation “difficult”.

“House for Mom” is one of the charitable projects of the Orthodox Service “Mercy”. The head of the service is Bishop of Orekhovo-Zuevsky Panteleimon. The service was founded in 1991, 30,000 in need receive one -time assistance per year. In total, the service has twenty-seven assistance projects: lonely old people, disabled people, pregnant women who find themselves without a roof over their heads, orphans, homeless, HIV-infected.

The head of the “House for Mom” Maria Studenikina came to “Mercy” by a volunteer, later led the Center for Humanitarian Assistance of the Service, and the last six years - “House for Mom”. “The most important thing for us is that the girl wanted to get out and do something for this. When she comes to us, we conduct the first conversation and immediately ask the question - how do you see life after the shelter. This is the main thing. We are ready to tighten any resources to help, solve any problem, but a person should want to fight, work, move on. Not everyone remains on such conditions - mandatory homework, girls collect road sets of threads, sew sheets, study different professions. Just sit and do nothing for us. But they all help each other, look at the children in turn, prepare at all on duty. ”

“House for Mom” is a consulting center and a shelter. In the consulting center, women can receive the help of a lawyer, psychologist or social worker. Here you can get children's clothes, medicines, strollers, cribs and other necessary things that are distributed from the Center for Humanitarian Assistance of the Mercy Service.

Up to ten women with children live in a shelter at the same time, but sometimes you have to put folds and additional beds. The center provides assistance to women, regardless of their age, citizenship, nationality, religion, the availability of documents and the past. Between themselves, employees and mothers affectionately call the shelter - “house”. Among those who were helped in the center were citizens of Ukraine, Moldova, Tajikistan, Venezuela and the Congo.

The center has existed since February 2012, for six years 223 mothers and 227 children lived here, 500 women received socio-psychological support. Tickets to their homeland were bought for 270 women. Humanitarian aid in “Mercy” can turn to any needy family, during existence, the service helped eight thousand families throughout Russia.

“House for Mom” is a very small building in the Tagansky district of Moscow, two residential floors, a large kitchen, a basement in which a workshop where girls are engaged in homework; A small studio where a master class in hairdressing arts is held, manicure. I got into the "House for Mom" ​​in the ninth month. The owner of the apartment, which was rented, found out that I was pregnant and kicked out. He said that it is impossible with the child and that I free the living space at the end of the paid term. There were two weeks left. It so happened that I had no other living space in Moscow, and there was nowhere to go. I am a stateless person, I still have no passport. My parents from the former Soviet republics, they had everything good with documents, but for some reason they did not bother to make them to me. Mom is from Moldova, and dad from Uzbekistan. I was born and lived in Moscow all my life, I never even left, but I had no documents. The father of my daughter, Diana, lives with his mother, who does not let me on the threshold against our relationship. And I myself would not go there. I found information about the crisis center on the Internet and came here.

Diana was born, I began to take home, went on courses for the master of manicure and nail service. With the help of the leadership of the Center, I restore my documents, so far, however, there is no passport. But I have already issued the necessary certificates, and most importantly, I received all the documents of Diana. And in April, with another girl, we will begin to rent an apartment together and work in shifts. For example, one works, the second sits with two children. “House for Mom” helps us raise money for the first time.

I got married at 38, accepted Islam. At first everything was fine, we had twins, two daughters. But then Martha was diagnosed with epilepsy and Vesta Syndrome. Children with such a diagnosis develop in the opposite direction - they stop walking, holding their heads, communicating ... We tried to be treated, and a son was born at that time. And the husband suddenly quit his job, began to sit on the Internet until four in the morning, sleep until three days. There was no money at all, it got to the point that I had to steal milk for children in a store. He mocked us, beat me. Once it became dangerous for children. There was a scandal, we hid in the kitchen from him, locked the door, and he beat the mop, pierced the door through and almost hit his daughter. Then I realized that I had to run.

My husband was just not to leave, you understand. I secretly searched the hotline phones on the Internet, called, they gave me the address of “House for Mom” there. And we ran away. We lived here for more than three months, while they were looking for how to return to my house in Kyiv. Here I baptized the children, and Martha began to recover. When we planned in the hospital, after baptism, the doctors did not believe our diagnosis. The doctor thought he was mistaken in the ward. But Martha managed to stop the attacks of epilepsy, she runs again, communicates. We returned to Kyiv to my family, we come here for examinations and always go to the “House for Mom” to say thank you.

I was born in Murom, my mother died when I was 18 years old. She drank strongly. I came to work in Moscow, to a toy factory, rented a room. When the owner found out that I was pregnant, I was asked to leave.

In Murom, I have an apartment left, but there is stove heating. While I was working in Moscow, I asked my friend in the winter to come to drown the stove so that everything would not dare. She somehow drowned, in general, the stove is now faulty, and there was also a fire. Not strong, but there was no one at home, so firefighters pierced the roof to get into the apartment. There is now a hole in the ceiling, and the stove does not work. The local administration says that standing in line for an apartment is at least another five years. But they promised to help repair heating. I would go there myself, but with a child it is impossible for now.

Therefore, we live here. But soon we will return to Murom, we will probably shoot something there while we repair our house. In the "House for Mom" ​​we are helped with things, with documents - and with everything, in fact.
