Members of the nationalist movement “Black Bloc” were detained in Moscow

In Moscow, near the building of the European Union Delegation, two members of the nationalist movement “Black Bloc” and another girl who had no relation to the activists were detained. Vladimir Ratnikov, one of the detainees, reported this to the hotline.

Members of the nationalist "Black Bloc" were detained when they tried to deliver a letter to the EU mission demanding not to recognize the results of today's elections.

Vladimir Ratnikov said that two more movement activists were also detained along with them. They and the detained girl, a random passer-by, were taken to the Tagansky district police department.

UPD: Ratnikov also added that it became known about the detention of two other members of the Black Bloc. At the moment, the police are not saying which department the activists will be taken to. One of the detainees said that their passports were taken away during the check; they were sitting in a paddy wagon on Bolotnaya Square.

UPD : It turned out that in total, at least 13 nationalists were detained in Moscow on March 18. The head of the Nation and Freedom Committee, Vladimir Ratnikov (Komarnitsky), and four other activists of the movement were taken to the Tagansky district police department. Eight people were taken to the Yakimanka police station, one of whom turned out to be a minor. The minor's mother came to pick him up; the others were released later after they signed reports for jaywalking. The activists demanded that copies of the documents be given to them, but the police never did this. Five detainees were released earlier from the Tagansky department.
