2003 American ultimatum to Saddam Hussein

15 years ago, on March 19, 2003, US President George W. Bush issued an ultimatum to Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, demanding that he immediately leave the country. It was supported by the leaders of Great Britain, Japan, Turkey and Australia, while France, China and Canada opposed it. The next day, March 20, the invasion of the Americans and their allies into Iraq began.
