Businessman Oleg Deripaska, in a lawsuit against Nastya Rybka (Anastasia Vashukevich) and Alex Leslie (Alexander Kirillov), demanded to recover one million rubles from them each as compensation for moral damage, reports Znak.com with reference to the case materials.
The lawsuit, according to the publication, also states that the information that Nastya Rybka was the businessman’s mistress is not true. Deripaska believes that Alex Leslie and Nastya Rybka distributed his photographs in order to “satisfy philistine interest” and advertise their courses.
According to the publication, the case materials also contain private complaints about interim measures in the businessman’s claim; the Krasnodar Regional Court will consider them on March 27. Complaints were filed by opposition politician Alexei Navalny, Mediazona and Znak.com .
In early February, the Anti-Corruption Foundation released an investigation based on photographs from Nastya Rybka’s Instagram, as well as information from her book. FBK learned that in August 2016, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Prikhodko and a businessman went on a yacht to the shores of Norway in the company of girls from an escort agency and held informal business negotiations there.
The day after the investigation was released, the Ust-Labinsky District Court of Kuban registered Deripaska’s claim against Nastya Rybka and Alex Leslie for the protection of the right to an image, privacy, and the protection of personal data. As interim measures for the claim, Roskomnadzor demanded that Mediazona, Radio Liberty, Znak.com , NEWSru.com , Snoba , The Village and Maxim remove photographs, videos and “other personal information” from publications about Deripaska. The FBK investigation was included in the register of information prohibited for dissemination.
