Turnout for the Novosibirsk region has been clarified

The Novosibirsk Regional Electoral Committee processed 100% of the protocols for the presidential elections in the Russian Federation. The adjusted preliminary turnout was 60.41%.

The preliminary turnout in the elections after processing all the protocols was 60.41%, Olga Blago, chairman of the regional election committee, said on March 19.

“In 2012, turnout was 63.26%,” Blago said. “But in general, taking into account the fears that were expressed that voters would not go to the polling stations, taking into account the fact that there were certain actions related to the boycott of the elections, I believe that our voters behaved with dignity and responsibility.”

In Novosibirsk, 58.58% of voters came to the polling stations, the head of the commission specified. At the same time, the highest turnout was recorded in Zheleznodorozhny.

The highest turnout was demonstrated by Kochkovsky (74.9%), Zdvinsky (73.76%) and Krasnozersky districts (73.4%) of the region. The smallest is in the Moshkovsky district (58.46%), Chulymsky (58.41%) and in the Ob (57.89%).

Previously, the current President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin received 71.06%. His closest rival Pavel Grudinin, who was supported by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, is gaining 16.39% in the region.
