The case under Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code (organization and participation in the extremist community) was opened on March 13, a few days before the detention of the defendants, the source said. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, they combined in the beginning of December 2017. "In order to involve new participants in the organization, unidentified persons created the New Greatness group on the VKontakte social network and Telegram messenger. According to investigators, the weekly meetings of the participants in the movement took place in the Bratislavskaya premises rented on Street. It became known about searches and detentions in the case on March 15 . Then only three detainees were reported - 25 -year -old Ruslan Kostylenkov from the city of Khotkovo near Sergiev Posad, Maria Lapina and a minor Anna Pavlikova , who would only be 18 years old at the end of March. This suggests that some of the defendants were detained either immediately after the opening of the case on the 13th, or even another 12th-before its excitement. If this is true, then the detentions stretched for several days - Rebrovsky last went to his page on the night of the 14th, and Kostrylenkov, Gavrilov, Karamzin and Kryukov - on the night for the 15th.

Publications on the VK page "New Greatness" began to appear on December 30 last year. In February, "New Greatness" the beginning of a large -scale stiffing in Moscow of leaflets with agitation against Vladimir Putin.
