In Volokolamsk in the west of the Moscow Region, citizens protesting against the Yadrovo landfill, which poisons air in the city, attacked the head of their area Evgeny Gavrilov. It is reported by Snob.
The incident occurred when Gavrilov, along with the governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov, arrived at the hospital, where the children were hospitalized with poisoning with poisonous emissions of the "nuclear". A rally of protesters took place at the hospital. Vorobyov and Gavrilov performed at this rally, but their speeches caused the outrage of citizens.
Seeing that the situation is heating up, officials decided to hide in the hospital. Vorobyov managed to go into the building. Meanwhile, Gavrilov was seized and dragged into the crowd, where, swearing, they began to make him complaints. “If my grandson die, I’ll stuff these glasses in the ass,” the grandfather of one of the sick children promised .
At some point, Gavrilov was pushed. He tried to answer. Then they attacked him at once from several sides. "Snob" claims that Gavrilov was beaten, but this was not recorded on the video. One of the eyewitnesses noticed that the official was only "washed in the crowd." “He was torn off the hood and trampled in the mud,” the eyewitness added.
As a result, Gavrilov managed to escape and go to the hospital building.
Later, the protesters threw the snowballs of the Governor Vorobyov, who left the building. Then the official began to push. The police, who were at the hospital, in turn, repelled the protesters, but did not beat anyone or detain anyone. According to the journalist "Kommersant" Alexander Chernykh, during the brawl of Vorobyov hit the head.
Further, Chernykh wrote in his telegram channel that three riot police buses arrived at the hospital. Protesters met the security forces with shouts "Shame!" And "You have children!".
On Wednesday night, the next emission of hydrogen sulfide occurred on the "nucleus". It was reported about strong stench in the city. More than 50 children turned to the doctors for help. Of these, according to various sources, from 5 to 23 are hospitalized.
Protests against the Yadrovo landfill do not stop the whole month .
