What do the meager interest of liberals mean in the elections and whether compromises are useful with the authorities

Before forgetting Putin’s re -election as an unpretentious dream, it is necessary to fix several important things for yourself.

1.67% for Ksenia Sobchak is not the vote of some “new opposition” there, and even more so not “an indicator of the number of supporters of liberal ideas”. These are just voices for Ksenia Sobchak. The percentage (well, okay, 1.05%) for Grigory Yavlinsky - this is just a vote for Yavlinsky. In total, these voices give a number in which there is no deep sense. It’s early to grab the head, curse the bad people early, repeat after the leading state television channels, which in Russia is about three percent of the supporters of the “democrats” is simply a shame. The meaning of such mechanical addition of the votes of two candidates appears only if you play games imposed by the authorities. This is just interesting to talk about this.

But before that, another important thesis. We will be honest: 32% of those who had non -suffering - these are not only supporters of the “voter strikes”, declared by Alexei Navalny. This, of course, is the most interesting part of the Russian electorate, but we really do not know anything about it. Probably, among the non -those who have not prevailed, just apolitical citizens who do not go to any elections and do not show any interest in politics. There are also conscious supporters of the boycott - not necessarily out of solidarity with Navalny.

The authorities within the political system are needed by a party of liberal oppositions. For the completeness of the picture, so to speak. To demonstrate the freedom of opinions reigning in the Fatherland and the extreme unpopularity of the defenders of this freedom

And there are people who have no one to vote in the system political field. They were not offered anything. Nobody represented their interests on pseudo -election. And yes, this is not at all a close -knit conglomerate of like -minded people. Honest and consistent Left understands that the choice between the president invented in the administration of the president to revive the image of the half -dead Communist Party of Grudinin and meaningless Suraikin, for whom even the role of the spoiler is heavy, is not a choice. An honest and consistent nationalist of the proposal to vote for Baburin will perceive as a mockery. Among the honest and consistent liberals were those who went to the polls to “thank Ksenia for the courage,” and those who voted for Yavlinsky, simply to indicate the very fact of their presence in the political field. But there were more those who understood - this is someone else's field and there is no need to be on it.

And also-a small remark: 32% of the percent of those who have not lost their sections is, of course, the failure of an unprecedented, which is not comparable in terms of scale, nor in terms of intensity, or the number of people involved in the process, from schoolchildren to top managers, and campaign for the appearance. This was not Navalny won. This Putin failed. Even before the president promised by the presidential administration, 70% could not reach.

And now - the main thing. The authorities within the political system are needed by a party of liberal oppositions. For the completeness of the picture, so to speak. To demonstrate the freedom of opinions reigning in the Fatherland at the same time, the extreme unpopularity of the defenders of this freedom and all other freedoms. The authorities are ready to take the corral, even a cozy ghetto in their own way, for those who are ready to play this game. And the results of the elections indicated the limits of folk support permissible for the penny - one and a half percent. Or two and a half, if we recall the supporters of Yavlinsky. Maybe even three - there are still votes of Titov! And what about Titov? Titov is also a system liberal and other system liberals no worse.

In the same way, the authorities designated what can be called under the current conditions the regime of the greatest favor for system liberals. “The courage of Ksenia” is not empty words. A single picket in Grozny is an act. But after all, everyone understands that there would be no sanctions from above (not for Sobchak, but for the formidable owner of the formidable) - there would be no picket.

Sobchak achieved the appearance of a memorial plate where Boris Nemtsov lived. The city hall in every possible way prevented the legitimate desire of the residents to hang such a sign, the city hall encouraged and covered the gopot, which broke the tablet. And Ksenia Sobchak suddenly decided to help and helped. Well, now there is this sign? Of course, good. The plate will remain, but the sediment in connection with all these shelter games will remain too.

Going to a compromise with the authorities, accepting its rules, in fact - promoting the authorities (for example, through participation in pseudo -editions), you will not achieve anything else, and you can’t demand anything else

Sobchak asked Putin to have mercy on 16 political prisoners. If at least one pardoned, the honor and praise Sobchak. But everyone understands that having pardoned one, he will plant five. And system liberals will have to wait for the next elections to bring the emperor a new list of innocently convicted to the emperor. And ask for the pardon of the innocent, turning a blind eye to contradiction in the definition.

There is nothing new here. There are only new faces for the old play about the liberal ghetto. Going to a compromise with the authorities, accepting its rules, in fact - contributing to the authorities (for example, by participating in pseudo -election), you will not achieve anything else, and you can not demand anything else. But you can create another permitted political party, receive your two percent in the federal elections, and in local, perhaps even places in the legislative assemblies.

And, of course, the new party will be created, the work is already boiling, and a new occasion appears to call everyone to unite, and those who do not want to accept the rules imposed by the Kremlin, blame the opposition.

And it’s better to look for and build a new opposition, all the same where there is no readiness to play according to the rules of the Kremlin and his own games, but there is a determination of formulating their own rules.
