In St. Petersburg, a report was drawn up against a Mediazona correspondent for broadcasting from the court

In St. Petersburg, the bailiff of the Dzerzhinsky District Court, Ivan Lozovsky, drew up a report against Mediazona correspondent Sasha Bogino for a text broadcast of a meeting in the case of anti-fascist Igor Shishkin, the publication reports .

The protocol was drawn up under the article on failure to comply with the order of a judge or bailiff (Article 17.3 of the Administrative Code). Lozovsky considered that the journalist violated the rules of conduct for citizens in the courthouse by not complying with his lawful order and not stopping broadcasting.

The protocol states that Bogino violated “the paragraph in clause 2.3, paragraph 3; 8 section 3.2 of the rules of behavior of citizens in the building of the Dzerzhinsky district court.” As the publication notes, rules of conduct are published on the court’s website, but it is not possible to understand what exactly the journalist violated: there is no such numbering or sections in the document.

Before the start of the court hearing, an unknown woman who came out of the office of the chairman of the court told a Mediazona correspondent that it was forbidden to write a text broadcast before the hearing. In doing so, she referred to Art. 241 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (glasnost) and demanded that Bogino hand over the laptop. The journalist refused.

Then the meetings expelled Mediazona correspondents David Frenkel and Bogino, as well as Shishkin’s wife. After this, the judge granted the investigator’s request to hold the hearing behind closed doors. Shishkin's arrest was extended until June 22.

• In January, the court arrested Shishkin on suspicion of participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code). The anti-fascist did not report torture, but the local PMC recorded numerous injuries and burns on the young man’s body. On January 8, Igor Shishkin filed a petition to conclude a pre-trial agreement on cooperation with the investigation.
• On January 25, the Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg arrested left-wing activist Viktor Filinkov for two months under a similar article. According to investigators, “Filinkov and other unidentified persons, sharing anarchist ideology, took part in a unit of the terrorist community for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities, propaganda, justification and support of terrorism.” On January 26 it became known that he was tortured.
