In Smolensk, a volunteer of Alexei Navalny’s strike headquarters, Sergei Komandirov, was expelled from the RANEPA course. He talks about this on his page on the VKontakte social network.
On the 4th he said According to Komandirov, during the trial he learned that he was being expelled and that he allegedly distributed leaflets that included drugs. Komandirov paid for his studies on the last possible day, but instead of accepting a check for payment, the university gave him a certificate of study with a list of passed disciplines and an extract from the expulsion order. The university administration explained the expulsion due to unpaid tuition on time, but Komandirov claims that other students who paid their tuition on the same day were not expelled.
Later, the student learned that the director of the university, Inna Timofeeva, was contacted by police officers, and teacher Tatyana Morgun advised students not to repeat after Komandirov, since “it is not yet known what article they will give him.”
Previously, the court closed the administrative cases of Sergei Komandirov and another volunteer of Navalny’s headquarters, Sergei Kupriyanov, for lack of corpus delicti.
because of the Activists on March 15 near the Griboyedov Theater, when they were distributing leaflets with information about the “Voter Strike.” The department drew up protocols against them for holding a public event without filing a notification (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). Volunteers were left overnight in the department until the trial.
