The St. Petersburg City Court reduced the term of arrest of Daniil Ken, deputy of the Sea Gates district. This was reported by the press service of the courts.
The court reduced the arrest from 12 days to five. Ken was released in the courtroom.
The deputy was detained on March 17 while trying to get a notification about his appointment as a member of the election commission. A protocol was drawn up against Ken under Part 1 of Art. 20.1 (petty hooliganism). On the same day, the Vyborgsky District Court arrested the detainee for 12 days, rejecting Ken's request to postpone the meeting to another day in order to allow the deputy to take part in the work of the election commission, as well as to find a lawyer and witnesses.
