In Yekaterinburg, the police detained activists who tried to get into the television tower. They oppose the demolition of the "main symbol" of the city. It is reported by "E1.ru".

At 4:45 am local time, opponents of the demolition of the television tower tried to get inside, the publication reports. According to eyewitnesses, the seven of them were caught by the guards. Then all the detainees were taken away in a police car.

E1.ru published a commentary by the Ural Mountain-Metallurgical Company (UMMC), which, after the explosion of the TV tower, is going to build an ice arena there. The company confirmed the detention of eight people. The press secretary added that "only from the beginning of March, 40 attempts of illegal penetration on the site were suppressed by guard."

According to the publication, they are going to explode on March 24 in the morning. Now there are several activists at the top of the building. They hung a Russian flag.

Two activists were delivered to the same police department who installed the flag of Russia on the tower. The young man who was injured by the legs was sent to the hospital. In total, according to the publication, nine people are in the ATS.
