year 2014. Murder of Alexander Muzychko

Four years ago, on March 24, 2014, in the village of Barmaki, Rivne region, the chairman of the Rivne regional organization UNA-UNSO and the coordinator of the Right Sector structures in Western Ukraine Alexander Muzychko (Sashko Bily), an active participant in Euromaidan, was killed.

According to the official version, Muzychko was shot dead by the GUBOP and the Sokol special forces during an operation to neutralize a local organized criminal group. However, according to friends of the victim, he was found in torn clothes and handcuffs, which indicates a murder after detention.

Muzychko was repeatedly accused of racketeering. 11 days before his death, he published his appeal to the SBU, in which he accused the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office of preparing his destruction.
