The authorities of the Moscow Region promised to conduct a medical examination of all the inhabitants of Volokolamsk

The Minister of Health of the Moscow Region Dmitry Markov promised to conduct an additional and in -depth medical examination of all the inhabitants of Volokolamsk.

According to him, on March 26, the medical examination of students in kindergartens and schools will begin, and adult residents of the city will be checked by personal circulation.

On March 24, the residents of Volokolamsk held a protest rally at the city administration, demanding to close the Yadrovo garbage training ground. As transmitted by RBC, several hundred people gathered for the rally, the action was agreed with the local authorities. Before the rally, as the Medusa correspondent reports, activists were invited to a meeting in the administration.

• Residents of the Volokolamsk region have been seeking the closure of the Yadrovo garbage training ground for several months and complain about the poor environmental situation. On March 21, after the next release of gas at the landfill, several dozen children complained about poor health, the next day another 68 children turned to medical help.
• On March 23, the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov dismissed the head of the Volokolamsk district Evgeny Gavrilov. This happened a day after the next spontaneous rally in Volokolamsk, during which a fight occurred with the participation of Gavrilov. His place in the administration of the Volokolamsk district was taken by the former head of the city district of Losino-Petrovsky Andrei Vikharev. He said that he sees his task in a short time to make Volokolamsk one of the most landscaped cities of the region.
• Andrei Vorobyov, in turn, promised to halve the removal of garbage to the training ground. In addition, aerosol guns were installed on Yadrovo, which should interfere with the spread of the smell.
• It is expected that the protest campaign will continue on March 25.
