On March 23, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the coordinator of the Chelyabinsk headquarters, Alexei Navalny, Alexei Tabalov, under Part 1 of Art. 5.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (preparation of illegal campaigning). He told OVD-Info about this himself.
According to Tabalov, the report was drawn up by a district police officer who came to the headquarters. The activist refused to give explanations, citing Article 51 of the Constitution. According to the policeman, on January 25, Tabalov produced leaflets calling for the Voters' Strike on January 28, which was considered illegal campaigning.
On February 22 , it became known that the prosecutor's office of the Sovetsky district of Chelyabinsk brought against Tabalov, who is also the director of the human rights organization "Conscript's School", an administrative case under Part 3 of Art. 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the law on personal data). According to the prosecutor's office, the website http://netprizyvu.ru/ , owned by Tabalov, does not contain a document regulating the processing of users' personal data, although it should be there.
