Among the nominees of the award this year were also writers and artists from France, Iran, New Zealand, Sweden, Argentina, Austria, China, Poland and Switzerland.
The Hansa Andersen Award has been awarded for more than 60 years and is considered the most prestigious reward in the field of children's literature.
