
In Krasnoyarsk, the activities of a terrorist cell associated with international terrorist organizations are suppressed. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the regional department of the FSB.
According to the special service, the detainees were members of the Krasnoyarsk Jamaat. "Three organizers and six participants in the terrorist cell were detained. In their respect, the Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory opened a criminal case under part 1 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code (organization of the terrorist community) and part 2 of Article 205.4 (participation in the terrorist community)," the FSB said.
Employees of the FSB, the police and the Russian Guard conducted searches for 16 addresses, including the place of residence of members of the group. Forbidden religious literature, instructions for the manufacture of homemade explosive devices, textbooks on a mine-explosive case were discovered and seized, a message said.
"Now some of the detainees are given a confession of the illegal activities of the organizers of the terrorist community," the FSB noted.
In Russia, a number of sentences on the participation in various "Jamaats" have already been issued. So, on March 23 last year, the collegium of the Volga District Military Court (Samara) at an exit meeting in Kazan sentenced nine defendants in the case of Chistopolsky Jamaat for terms of 16 to 24 years of strict regime . The 39-year-old Marat Sabirov received the maximum term. For a year less - 23 years - gave 34 -year -old Rafael Zaripov. Both, along with the killed in May 2014, Rais Mingaleev were declared the founders and leaders of the group. 54-year-old Ramil Abitov and 39-year-old Ayrat Sitdikov received 19 years old, 37-year-old Almaz Galeev and 41-year-old Jaudat Ganeyev-18 years old, 30-year-old Ruslan Gafurov-17 years old, 26-year-old Mikhail Martyanov and 30-year-old Stanislav Trofimchik-16 years old.
In addition to 205.4, other articles of the Criminal Code were charged with the defendants, including about the attacks and illegal turnover of weapons. None of the defendants admitted the guilt in terrorist attacks. At the investigation, the defendants were subjected to cruel torture.
