The Moscow City Court recognized the legality of the liquidation of the Navalny headquarters fund

On March 26, the Moscow City Court upheld the decision to liquidate the Fifth Season of the Year fund, which financially provided the headquarters of Alexei Navalny. It is reported by "RAPSI" with reference to the head of the press service of the court Ulyana Solopova.

In January, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow decided to liquidate the fund.

• In November 2017, the prosecutor's office conducted an unscheduled audit of the fund. According to the Ministry of Justice, the fund did not provide the documents necessary for verification in due time, violated its own charter by financing Navalny's campaign, was located at the wrong address indicated in the documents, stores personal data in violation of personal data protection requirements, and also has unregistered structural divisions. In addition, the fund allegedly accepts bitcoins from donors, so there is the possibility of anonymous donations - and they are prohibited during the election campaign.
