The countries of the three continents (Europe, the USA and Canada, Australia) jointly expel Russian diplomats. The expulsion of 140 people has already been announced. 60 employees of diplomatic institutions should leave the United States, the Russian representative office in NATO is reduced by a third, individual EU countries have escaped with symbolic expulsions of one or two people. Maria Zakharova, a true sommelier in the field of God's dew, continues to say that what happened is a disaster for Teresa May, a British prime minister. British accusations, they say, are purely unfounded. Moscow has nothing to do with the poisoning of the former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in British Salisbury at all. And point. And you prove !!!

We observed all this during the annexation of Crimea, and during the secret war in the Donbass. Ms. Zakharova and her boss, who mutter something unintelligible about unprecedented pressure that Britain (leaving the European Union), or the insidious White House (whose last strength resists the pressure of the anti-Russian establishment, but at the same time, gains no systems in the foreign policy team). A presentation, which was transferred to Kommersant, prepared for a briefing at the British Embassy (which convinced many of Russia, including the US ambassador Hartman), really does not contain any super -secret information. This is a chronology of the crime itself, a description of the poisonous substance and its striking action. Finally, this is the main thing, the listing of all the subversive actions of Moscow, starting with the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko.

The head of the foreign ministry, Sergei Lavrov and his mouthpiece, Ms. Zakharov, who drive the blizzard about the Anglo-Saxon “pressure”, carefully pretend that they do not understand-there is a full-scale diplomatic disaster. After all, if for a second to assume that Russian representatives tell the truth that Moscow is not related to a crime, the incident means that the effectiveness of the domestic Foreign Ministry is equal to zero. If I understand correctly, the task of any diplomatic department is not in demonstrative rudeness, but of convincing foreign states of the rightness of their country. This task was obviously not fulfilled. Moscow was faced with a joint action of the collective West, which decisively does not want to become a protected field for special matters of Russian special services.

Of course, Russian diplomats most likely are not related to crime. But their work was not indifference in an attempt to kill. Their work was to convince foreign states of Russia's non -involvement. And here the full fiasco happened. The Foreign Ministry failed his work. It turned out that the boorish-basic style, which was elected representatives of our country at a special briefing where foreign ambassadors were collected, did not work. As the escapades of Mrs. Zakharova did not impress. The problem is that the characters called Russian diplomats tried to influence representatives of foreign states in the style in which the leading television talk shows in the daytime affect domestic housewives and pensioners. Namely, answering questions in the style of “you shoot blacks”, “Recall NATO aggression against Yugoslavia.” I happened to talk with several ambassadors of European states about this event. They were definitely offended. It is no longer a fact of a chemical attack in Salisbury. The fact that they, professional high -ranking diplomats, tried to make participants a certain propaganda mass. A separate conversation about the statements of Ms. Zakharova that the poisoning substance of the “Novice” could be made, in addition to the United States and Great Britain, in Sweden and the Czech Republic.

I suspect that in my slave desire to fulfill the will of the authorities about the “offensive approach”, representatives of the foreign policy tried not to soften the situation, but to aggravate it.

Now, when one and a half hundred Russian diplomats pack their suitcases (it is very curious that their wives say about the Kremlin’s eternally correct course), it is obvious that the foreign policy activity of the domestic Foreign Ministry actually ended with complete failure. And this is in a situation where the European Union is experiencing a serious internal crisis. But even without presenting the “iron evidence” of the country of Western Europe, they decided to solidarize with Britain and ignored the arguments of Moscow. The last, sixth slide from the British presentation played a role - the one where the former subversive actions of Russia related to violation of international laws were listed: the annexation of Crimea, the death of the Boeing of the Malaysian Boeing, the secret war in the Donbass. The number has passed into quality. A reputation earned in the Putin period is acting against Russia. Our country has finally became a worldwide outcast. And her diplomacy is the same outcast. It is known that the moment of international crises, when the mutual confidence of the powers strives for zero, the personal relations of the representatives of these states, a certain “chemistry”, the trust between individual representatives of the opposing powers, can soften the situation. And here Russian diplomacy completely failed. The “offensive”, in which Russian representatives are practicing in recent years, has completely destroyed trust ...
