Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and the Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova, during which the head of state heard reports on the situation in Kemerovo. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.

“Of course, all versions should be checked, all without exception. But the version of some attackers, of course, is very convenient for those who are a suspect today. This is the first,” the president noted, referring to Bastrykin.

Putin also focused on the “stuffing through social networks” about the tragedy in the Winter Cherry shopping and entertainment complex, the purpose of which, according to him, are attempts to “sow panic and distrust, push people among themselves.”

“This, of course, cannot be allowed under any circumstances. But the investigation should be full -fledged. If any of these versions is confirmed, it means that it should be justified by objective data - the examinations about which you said: technical, construction, financial and so on,” the head of state continued.

“But whatever the conclusions may be there, it is still incomprehensible, why they did nothing to correct the failed signaling system, why manually did not use the warning button about the fire, why did the doors be closed? There are a lot of“ why, ”Putin said.

According to him, he personally got acquainted with the document on the inspection of a burned -out building in 2016, including fire service employees. “What did you read? Bastrykin called two versions of the fire in the "Winter Cherry"

The Chairman of the SK, Alexander Bastrykin, told Putin that there are currently 104 investigators and forensics in Kemerovo, including more than 40 people from the central apparatus of the department. These are "the most competent specialists from the Office for the investigation of especially important cases," he emphasized.

“Two main versions are put forward: this is a malfunction of the fire safety system, and the second version that is put forward by persons who are prosecuted by us are officials and experts,” they say that self -pole is possible with open fire, ”Bastrykin said.

The fire in the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo began on March 25, they could only extinguish it after 12 hours. The fire occurred on the top floor where the cinema halls were located, on Sunday there were many children. According to official figures, 64 people died in a fire.
