On March 15, searches were held in Moscow with members of the opposition movement "New Greatness". This was announced by the Telegram channel "Kremlin laundress" ( one , two ).
What was the reason for the searches was not reported. According to eyewitnesses, during one of the searches, a list of ten names of members of the movement was removed. According to unconfirmed reports, the FSB officers were present at the search.
A little later, a video appeared on the Web with the recognition of the leader of the movement of Ruslan Kostylenkov, given during the interrogation.
According to Kostylenkov , the goal of the organization was to “establish orders in the Russian Federation, the organization of the tribunal over members of the ruling elite, the abolition of repressively acting laws and the Constitution.” When asked how the members of the movement wanted to do this, Kostylenkov replied that he was going to organize rallies and arrange actions against law enforcement officers.
After the searches, the leader of the movement Ruslan Kostylenkov, a minor participant and another seven people were detained. All of them were sent to the UK CJSC.
The next day, March 16, the Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow imposed on two months of seven participants in the “New Greatness” movement, including a minor girl. Two more received house arrest. Everyone was charged under the article of Part 1 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code (organization of an extremist community). Among the arrested was the leader of the movement Ruslan Kostylenkov.
On March 20, the Moscow Agency reported that the criminal case was opened on March 13, that is, a few days before searches and detention.
Referring to a source in law enforcement agencies, the agency also argued that the purpose of the community is the commission of crimes based on political hatred of the activities of the constitutional system existing in the Russian Federation. In addition, the members of the “New Greatness” repeatedly arranged in Moscow and Moscow Region congresses of participants, at which they conducted training in rallies, including the use of firearms and explosive weapons, the agency’s interlocutor noted.
Recall that community participants are accused under Part 1 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, that is, in the organization of the extremist community .
The extremist community understands the organized group of people to prepare or commit an “extremist crimes”. A person who is recognized as the organizer of such a community (the first part of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) can receive up to ten years in prison, a possible participant (second part) - up to six years old. The Supreme Court explained that criminal liability under this article begins at the age of 16.
The official commentary on Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code says that the group should be “sustainable”, in which people united in advance to prepare and commit such crimes. The group should have an organizer and a stable composition, the actions of the participants must be agreed.
Judging by the materials of the case, plans for the overthrow of power are charged with the participants in the “new greatness”. Apparently, such actions in accordance with the wording of the article should be interpreted as “committed based on political hatred”.
OTD-info managed to get acquainted with the materials of the criminal case received from the lawyer of one of the defendants in the case. These papers allow you to look somewhat wider at the individuals of the community members, their activities and the distribution of roles. In the case file, you can find the following information below about some arrested and those who have been bypassed.
Maxim Roshchin is a 38-year-old unemployed from the Khimki near Moscow. He did not participate in educational shooting, he did not know anything about other educational events.
Peter Karamzin, 40 years old. He knows nothing about rallies dedicated to the presidential elections and did not participate in their discussions. He tried to take part in the first training camps, but the group " got stuck in the snow ." Like all participants, I gave the money to Ruslan D , with whom he once visited the rally, but, realizing that he was not agreed by the authorities, left there .
Pavel Rebrovsky -31-year-old unemployed Muscovite. He was appointed head of the department of active actions, treated his duties with humor and did not deal with them. He seriously did not discuss anything, as he understood that it was impossible to overthrow the power by the forces of 10 people. I handed over the money in cash " Ruslan D ".
Vyacheslav Kryukov is a 19-year-old second-year student of the Russian State University of Justice. He came to Moscow from Gelendzhik. I gave the money simply because of curiosity: I wanted to listen to discussions of the political situation in the country, but without contributions to the meetings were not allowed . Like everyone else, I passed the money to Ruslan D, who, according to Kryukov, also was engaged in the search for a premises for the meeting.
Ruslan Kostylenkov (aka Ruslan "Center"), 25 years old. We previously judged for robbery. The leader of the group, which he himself talks about on the video of the interrogation published by the Kremlin laundry.
These members of the New Greatness community were interrogated on March 13, a criminal case was opened on the same day, within which 9 people were detained and then arrested on March 15. The testimonies of Konstantinov, Rastorguev and Kashapov are the basis of the prosecution of all the arrested, while from the materials of the case that issued the latter to the lawyers, these testimonies were seized. They themselves were not arrested.
Alexander Konstantinov (aka Ruslan D - not to be confused with Ruslan "Center" Kostylenkov!) * . A person with an empty profile in the protocol of interrogation. It is recognized that he participated in the association for the “subsequent identification of participants”, acquaintance with documents and obtaining significant information for transferring to law enforcement agencies. Konstantinov calls himself the head of the financial department . At the same time, as follows from the testimony of other participants given above, the collection of money, the search and rental of the premises was engaged in one person - Ruslan D (Konstantinov). According to the leader of the group leader - Kostylenkov, - Ruslan D wrote the charter of the group.
Maxim Rastorguev is a 29-year-old senior officer, police captain. Introduced into the group on assignment. In his testimony, Rastorguev testifies that participation in the Ruslan D community is part of the operational-search event, “ operational implementation ”. Together with Ruslan D and Ruslan “Center” (Kostylenkov) he participated in the creation of a storming detachment . The leader of the assault detachment helped to make Molotov cocktails .
Rustam Kashapov is a 28-year-old military engineer. According to the testimony of one of the arrested, it was Kashapov who brought weapons and cartridges to one of the groups.
It becomes clear from the case file that:
* The initial text of the publication stated that Konstantinov and the implemented agent of the Spaniards were one person. This statement was recognized by the editorial office of the OTD-info controversial and deleted from the main text. Perhaps the Spaniards, whose introduction in his testimony describes Rastorguev, is another person, and he was not actively involved in the operation to create an “extremist” community.
