The coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Kazan was fined on charges of illegal campaigning

In Kazan, a justice of the peace fined the coordinator of the local strike headquarters, Alexei Navalny, Elvira Dmitrieva, a thousand rubles. It is reported by "Idel. Realii” with reference to Dmitrieva herself.

The court found the coordinator guilty of producing and distributing illegal campaigning (Part 1, Article 5.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of the “Voters' Strike” leaflets.

According to the protocol, before the presidential elections, Dmitrieva distributed campaign materials that did not contain information about the circulation, issue and payment for their production from the funds of the relevant election fund.

• On January 22, the police raided Navalny's headquarters in Kazan. Then law enforcement officers seized 537 leaflets. They explained their actions by the decision of the Murmansk CEC, which, according to them, banned the distribution of leaflets "Voters' Strike".
