"Silence turns against ourselves": a journalist about the unofficial interrogation of the FSB

The journalist and anarchist Sofiko Arifjanova told the OVD-Info about the unofficial interrogation of the FSB, during which employees tried to get information about activists from the girl and that the anarchists support Vyacheslav Maltsev and his “revolution”.

This happened at the end of February last year. My father called me and said that there was a big trouble that he could not talk about personally, and asked to come to him. When I was already with him, he said that they were going to start a case of extremism on Moloko Plus - supposedly following a linguistic examination. He said that his friends will be visited soon and advise me on this score. Father was in serious condition after a stroke.

Two came. Initially, the FSB officers did not plow themselves and mowed under dad's friends. I realized that something goes wrong when they went to the kitchen, and I asked what was with the “milk”, and they answered me:

- Well, wait, about everything in order. What political views do you adhere to?

I found out Alexei “Smile” later, I did not know the second, skinny young man with glasses. The conversation lasted almost three hours. A smile actively asked me about Maltsev: what I know about him, how I relate to him; He tried to talk about the "Revolution 5.11", but casually. I was asked about the “autonomous action” (hell) , and even kindly laid out a list of people who, in their opinion, had or were related to blood pressure. I don’t remember the names of St. Petersburg and Penza defendants - then I did not know about these people, and therefore I might simply not notice their surnames. Plus the list was strange. The couple of my friends got there obviously due to the fact that she often met in my pictures on Instagram. They didn’t really remember the “milk”, there was not a word about the “network” .

About Maltsev, they almost persuaded me to say at least something good, they pressed directly. It was said that in the anarcho-environment they support him, and Hell as an organization directly shares his views. “Do you really have a different opinion? And if you think well? " The dude in glasses was now and out of now and indignant: "Stop talking, we know very well about your courses on interrogation behavior, all these tricks are old as the world." They wanted to get specific answers.

They invented wild stories, trying to provoke me to the story, trying to undermine trust, including close people. For example, they said about Pasha Nikulin that they have a video from the Open Russia office, how he receives money from them for a trip to London. It was ridiculous, because a day after the interrogation, I went to them for a permanent job. I was told the idiotic horror films about people whom, in their opinion, I should not love much and about which because of this I, presumably, can say something in a bit.

Then they just tried to intimidate me: they say, dad was sick. They also said a dull thing that Kolchenko’s support promises me a criminal for aiding terrorism.

I did not publicize it before, because I digested the family situation: my father lured me for interrogation. I admit that he sincerely believes in this “friendship”, because after the illness, his only activity is to lead a column in “arguments and facts” about the Great KGB. I transmitted information about this case to those who were mentioned.

Then they somehow called me from an unknown number. But I, having called back, realized that these were the FSBSHNI, and began to ignore this number. For some reason, it was important for them that I myself called it, so they sent me an SMS, where they asked to call back. In the message, they called themselves "journalists in black", whom I met with my father. This is absurd, I know, I can’t believe that I am telling this.

It seems to me that the FSB has long prepared the factory of the case of the "network". I know that with such an interrogation they came not only to me. And I am sure that the searches in this matter have passed much more than the general public is known.

It was possible to prevent the crazy scope of the tragedy, having betrayed the situation in time. Problems began to appear a year ago, and they started talking about them when the FSB already managed to torture confessions out of abducted people.

It is impossible to predict what is on the mind of the Chekists. But you can’t be silent about such cases, it is simply impossible. They intimidate, crush, they can build “friends” who want “reciprocity”, and sometimes you yourself do not think that the situation is publicized. Nevertheless, each time silence turns against ourselves.

• Based on the case file, which is described inthe publication of the Republic of Rights, the FSB believes that since 2014, the Network terrorist community has existed in Russia. His cells allegedly are in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Penza, as well as in Belarus. The St. Petersburg branches allegedly called “Marse Field” and “Jordan-SPB”, Penza-“5.11” (according to other information, “Sunrise”), and Moscow-“MSC”. The service believes that people from the “Network” gathered during the elections and the World Cup “to swing the masses to further destabilize the political situation in the country” using explosions.

In October 2017, five young people were arrested in Penza: Yegor Zorin (later he was transferred under house arrest), Ilya Shakursky, Vasily Kuksov, Dmitry Pchelintsev and Andrei Chernov. Arman Sagynbaev was delivered from St. Petersburg to Penza and also placed in the insulator. All of them were accused of participating in the terrorist community (part 2 of article 205.4 of the Criminal Code). In January 2018, Igor Shishkin and Viktor Filinkov were detained in St. Petersburg. They were also accused of participating in the "Network". Members of the St. Petersburg Public Supervisory Commission recorded traces of torture over the arrested in St. Petersburg, and the defendants in the case in Penza talked about psychological pressure, torture, “hanging upside down” and weapons, which the FSB officers threw them.

The name "5.11", according to "Mediazona", is not connected with the date of the "revolution" of the nationalist Vyacheslav Maltsev. According to various information, these figures (the names of the Straikeball teams, which were fond of the defendants in the case in Penza) are referred either to the popular brand of tactical clothing and equipment, or to the date of execution of the 17-year-old Penza anarchist Nikolai Pchelintsev, hanged in 1907.
