The Sovetsky District Court of Kazan confirmed fines to local observers from Yabloko who were removed from polling stations before the end of the vote count. This is reported by the site “Idel. Realities".
Advisory member of precinct election commission No. 451 Maxim Pankratov and observer of precinct election commission No. 409 Gulnara Galyautdinova were removed from the polling stations on charges of interfering in the work of the commission and fined on March 19 by a magistrate under Art. 5.69 of the Code of Administrative Offenses each for two thousand rubles.
On March 30, the Sovetsky District Court of Kazan confirmed the decision of the magistrate, leaving the appeals of the observers unsatisfied.
The observers themselves, sent to the PECs by Grigory Yavlinsky's headquarters, do not admit guilt and are convinced that they were only fulfilling their duties without violating the electoral law. According to the activists, they were illegally removed from the polling stations.
