The response of the mayor's office officials says that another event was previously announced in the place indicated by the organizers - Yermolov Square. Officials also refused to approve the action in the center of the Medvedev forest.

The organizers still intend to hold a comic picket.

The Orlets website reports that April Fools' pickets are traditional jokes in the city center that have been held since 2012.

In 2015, the organizers applied for a picket "in support of the spiritual bonds of the Orlovites." However, the administration did not consider it - allegedly, the activists indicated the location of the event inaccurately.

At the same time, copies of applications for shares of the Young Guard were published on the Civil Forum website, which were no different. After the April Fool's picket organizers complained about the officials' decision to the court, which later recognized the refusal as illegal and satisfied the activists' claim.
