Law enforcement officers conducted a search at JSC Yakut Fuel and Energy Company (YATEK, part of the Summa group). reports this Interfax with reference to a representative of the press service of the FSB Directorate for Yakutia.

“As part of the criminal case, investigative actions are being carried out at the YATEK company. A search and seizure of documents is underway,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

Yakut Fuel and Energy Company is a manufacturer of motor fuels and supplies the market with gas condensate, gasoline, and diesel fuel. This is the only enterprise supplying gas to the central regions of Yakutia.

According to the SPARK-Interfax database, the Summa group of Ziyavudin Magomedov, through Investor LLC, owns 82.06% of the shares.

On Saturday, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested the co-owner of the Summa group, Ziyavudin Magomedov, until May 30. His older brother, former senator Magomed Magomedov, and the general director of Intex LLC (part of Summa) Artur Maksidov were also arrested. They are suspected of large-scale theft of budget funds. The investigation estimates the damage at more than 2.5 billion rubles.

In total, there are seven episodes of theft, which, according to the investigation, were committed by companies included in Summa. The case involves 209 legal entities. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that on March 30, searches as part of the case took place in 25 regions.
