Mikhail Yuryevich Ugarov was born in 1956 in Arkhangelsk, studied at the Literary Institute named after A.M. Gorky in Moscow, but did not graduate him. In the mid-1990s, he was one of the organizers and participants of the Creative Council of the Debit Central House of the actor.

He wrote scripts for television series, including “Petersburg Secrets” and “The Diary of the killer”, was the head of the program “My Family” (RTR), the screenwriter of the current show “Windows” (STS), took part in the television project “Past and Duma” (“Rain”).

As the director made his debut in 2002 by the performance of the play Off OFF , according to his play “The Death of Ilya Ilyich” in the Center for drama and directing Alexei Kazantsev and Mikhail Roshchin.
