The first postal drone in Russia crashed
After the ceremonial launch in Ulan-Ude, a drone crashed, which was supposed to deliver a parcel from Russian Post to a neighboring village. The drone first gained altitude, and then abruptly began to decline and crashed into a three-story apartment building. The drone is not subject to restoration, Arig Us online reports .
The launch ceremony was attended by the Head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, and the General Director of Russian Post, Nikolai Podguzov. This was the first UAV-assisted postal cargo delivery flight in the history of the Russian Post. Buryatia was chosen as a test site following a working meeting between the head of Buryatia and the CEO of Russian Post during the investment forum in Sochi.
One of the versions of the accident is a large number of points in wi-fi in nearby houses. The cost of the crashed drone is 1.2 million rubles.
