The first in the history of the Russian Post, the delivery of cargo with a drone ended in failure: the aircraft crashed into a building at high speed
The drone worth 1.2 million rubles was supposed to deliver the cargo from the site in front of the post office in 105 Ulan-Ude microdistrict in the village of Tarbagatai (16 km).
However, almost immediately after takeoff, the aircraft crashed at high speed into a house located nearby, shows the frames laid out by eyewitnesses.
According to preliminary data, the reason for the crash was numerous wi-fi points in nearby houses, writes the Settle edition of Arig Uda Online.
“We made certain conclusions for ourselves, there are a whole series there. Therefore, we will work further, ”the head of Buryatia Alexei Tsydenov said after the incident. The launch director of Russia Nikolai Podguzov also attended the launch.
Russian Post is going to use drones to deliver goods to hard -to -reach areas. Buryatia was chosen by a test site following the meeting of Tsydenov and Podghov in Sochi.
